Premier’s Message
BOFA 2011 is set to entertain audiences with films from many different cinema genres and it is really exciting that Tasmania has its own, dedicated film festival. The best of Tasmania will be on show to the world over the five day event and I look forward to its continued growth and success in the coming years.
Lara Giddings, Premier of Tasmania
Directors’ Message
Film inspires people. Great stories cross all boundaries. So, why “Breath of Fresh Air”? We wanted Tasmania’s first major film festival to be fresh and different. Fresh stories and events. Great stories that inspire positive thinking and more importantly, action. A festival celebrating film and food and fun in Tasmania.
