Technics, Memory and the Architecture of History

Join the UTAS School of Architecture & Design and the Interstices Journal at this opening session of an international symposium into the connections between images, art, language, technology and architecture. The symposium will look at how we remember the past and how history is written and will draw upon disasters such as the Christchurch earthquake and 9/11 as powerful recent examples. The keynote speaker in this opening session is Prof Alessandra Ponte from the University of Montreal, Canada. Includes evening cocktails for the launch of Issue 12 of the Interstices Journal.
